In New Zealand, funky modern cafes are a rare site, what more to say one in a furniture store. There are the occasional cafes Mojo, Starbucks, Expressoholic and others of the like. But they are nothing compared to the Loom, which is why I believe they deserve a mention. The Loom Café is part of the high-end designer store, Latessitura in Como, which sells a collection of fabulous classic and modern designer furniture. All made in Italy. So if you can’t afford to acquire any of the pricey pieces, at least get the opportunity to sit on them while having a latte. Friday, October 13, 2006
